The Spring Reset Ritual

New season. New beginnings. Very cheesy, but true.

I truly love seasonal resets and look forward to them because it is a chance to restart. To do it right. Not only does it bring me peace and joy to reset every season, it also brings me comfort. Knowing that everything is fresh is comforting and reassuring. It allows us to focus on what matters the most and to actually seize our time and energy through the season.

Spring is now here and the weather is changing. The season of bloom and new beginnings. Here are some tips to guide you through your spring reset.

I. CLEAN UP YOUR SURROUNDINGS

From your house to your body and mind.

Start with decluttering and cleaning up. Most of the time, clearing up your space clears your mind, which is why it’s an important step to do in order to reset. Go by organizing and cleaning up a section every day. All the chores that you’ve been putting off, get them done and scratch them off your list. It doesn’t need to be an exhaustive process, just a quick clean-up to feel better.

II. DETOX YOUR BODY

Your body and mind are constantly working and under pressure. Taking the time to relax and unwind is essential to staying healthy. Although you should detox every once in a while and not only during seasonal resets, it’s essential to prioritize your health throughout this time.

Break a sweat, take a long shower, eat a healthy meal, take your vitamins, sleep well, and sit back to relax for a bit. Not only will you enjoy it, but you’ll quickly see how much you need it.

III. MIND DUMP

Your mind is also part of your health. Jot down your ideas and thoughts and plan out what you’ve been working on or planning to do. It’s the best way to not only release stress from your mind but also organize your thoughts and map out your upcoming plans.

You’ll find clarity and focus. It might even help you understand yourself better. Do what you need to reset.

IV. DO WHAT YOU NEED TO RESET

You know what you need to do in order to reset and unwind. You know what you need to do most to prepare for this new season. Take the time to take care of yourself and your tasks. Schedule a day or two to reset and start over, to rest, and prepare yourself for this new season.

And once your reset is complete, you’ll not only feel accomplished, but you’ll also feel better and more confident to experience more and focus on what truly matters: having time for yourself and your loved ones. While it will take some effort beforehand to get it done, once you’ve prepared for the season, you’ll appreciate this restart.
